Our Mission
913Athletics’ mission is to be an elite Kansas City Volleyball club dedicated to creating and sustaining a culture of high level, dynamic, and competitive volleyball players. We are committed to working with athletes who are motivated to compete and succeed. Our team aims to equip athletes with the tools for success on and off the court and to develop a never ending love for volleyball. Our Athletes understand the commitment to the team and are willing to do/play in whatever position is necessary for the success of the team.
For their 3rd club season (2025-2026), 913Athletics offers a total of 15 teams ranging from U12-U17. 913Athletics plans to add U11’s and U18’s for the 2026-2027 season.
How We Operate
(2025-2026 Club Season)
From November - January each team will practice three times a week for two hours. One of those will be a “Skill Sunday” or “FUNdamental Friday” practice. Each team will be expected to meet for film sessions/team bonding once a month from January - March. We will also be implementing a 14 part Mental Toughness lesson plan to equip our athletes will all the tools they need for success on and off the court.
National teams will travel to 2 Qualifiers, Black teams will travel to 1 Qualifier, and White teams (including U12s and U13s) will remain local. Most teams will attend around 6-10 tournaments throughout the season.
New 913Athletes gear kit will include a backpack, 3 jerseys (black, white, and a custom pink jersey with arm sleeves), knee pads and socks. Additionally, they will receive 3 practice shirts, a long sleeve game warmup, and a zip-up.
